3 20112012 Highlights Programs and Services On-Grounds recruiting activity remained strong, with more than 300 organizations recruiting McIntire students at the University. Highlights of the 20112012 recruiting season are listed below: Over 3,000 Interviews McIntire students participated in 3,209 interviews at the University. 98% Undergraduate Placement As of August 17, 98% of the undergraduate Class of 2012 indicated they had accepted a position (86%), were enrolling in or seeking graduate school (8%), or were not in the job market (4%). Commerce Career Services is committed to partnering with companies and connecting them with our Seventy-nine percent (260 students) of the undergraduate Class of 2012 indicated they had an internship during the students, who have the highest level of professional excellence. 5 Undergraduate Student Profile Undergraduate Student Profile Thomas Jefferson, founder of the University of Virginia, believed a liberal arts education was key to a successful professional career. The Commerce Career Services staff was extremely helpful in West/Southwest providing answers and continuous mentorship and was an incredible support.
