Jones, Marc Edmund How to Live with the Stars 157 Jones, Marc, Edmunds Guide to Horoscope Interpretation 158 Jones, Marc, Edmunds Horary Astrology 159 Jones, Mark, Edmund Astrology: How and Why it Works An introduction to basic astrology. 160 Jung was intrigued from early in his career with coincidences, especially those surprising juxtapositions that scientific rationality could not adequately explain. He discussed these ideas with Albert Einstein before World War I, but first used the term "synchronicity" in a 1930 lecture, in reference to the unusual psychological insights generated from consulting the I Ching . A long correspondence and friendship with the Nobel Prize- winning physicist Wolfgang Pauli stimulated a final, mature statement of Jung's thinking on synchronicity, originally published in 1952 and reproduced here. Together with a wealth of historical and contemporary material, this essay describes an astrological experiment Jung conducted to test his theory. Synchronicity reveals the full extent of Jung's research into a wide Jung, Carl G, Synchronicity range of psychic phenomena. 161 Page 19 of 43

20 FAAWA Penny Foster Astrology Library Catalogue List This autobiography is unusual to say the least. It is replete with deep, profound, mystifying, eye-opening, tantalizing personal experiences rather than mundane happenings. It reads, at times, like a fantasy novel. I'd call this powerful book an impressionistic painting of Jung's life and work. It's very personal and very revealing. It's no wonder he left it to the very end of his life. Fortunately for us, he did provide the data & it was posthumously published. It provides a depth of context for his work that is available nowhere else. It is, however, expurgated--presumably by his family who didn't want all his dirty laundry (e.g. affairs with clients etc.) made public. After all, it was published not long after his death. There is much to learn from this book--even by those offended by it. As Jung says, p.247 "Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of Jung, Carl G, Memories, Dreams & Reflections ourselves." 162 Justason, Barbara Astrological Sex Signs Provides Sun/Venus/Mars compatibility information. 163 Kayhle, Alexandra Astrology Made Practical 164 Written over thirty years ago an excellent source for the new astrologer. 21 FAAWA Penny Foster Astrology Library Catalogue List Horary astrology shares with martial arts training the teaching of a combination of method and intuition. In both, repetitive practice results not merely in good technique, but ultimately in Art that goes beyond all technique. Horary possesses this martial quality because it is the only branch of Astrology that functions exclusively in the moment. Because Horary is immediate, its skills must be sharper, and cut deeper. The purpose of this work is to present the technique of Horary, viewed through the lens of Western Classical Astrology. Lehman, Dr J. Lee The Martial Art of Astrology 171 First and foremost, this is a reference book on rulerships; second, this is a classical concordance. Although astrological works dating from the seventeenth century and earlier lack explanations or discussions of the methods of assigning rulerships, we know that rulerships were assigned, and continue to be assigned, right up to the present moment, as new concepts/things are invented/discovered. Dr. Lehman examines how this process was really practiced in the classical period to give us insights into how to proceed today. Lehman, Dr J. Lee The Book of Rulerships 172 Using methods developed by ancient Astrologers, Lee Lehman works to strengthen techniques used by Astrologers today. The task of Classical Astrology today is twofold: to recover these techniques and to evaluate and understand them within a modern context. She presents both techniques and the logic behind them to radically improve all Astrology, regardless of whether the practitioner chooses to adopt a Classical or Neo-Classical approach. She analyses the charts of several famous people and events to demonstrate the techniques and their effectiveness. Lehman, Dr J. Lee Classical Astrology for Modern Living 173 Brings the symbolism of the degree into a descriptive, practically applicable format that can more easily be used in chart interpretation. The approach is Leinbach, Esther V. Degrees of the Zodiac psychological rather than symbolic. 174 Page 21 of 43

Rudhyar explains their meaning as "fields of experience." 20th Rudhyar, Dane The Astrological Houses anniversary publication. 252 A modern classic, as potent today as when first written in 1936. Rudhyar integrates modem concepts of psychology with elements of both Western and Oriental philosophies. He succeeds in presenting Astrology as a symbolic language by reformulating its basic concepts and focusing on viewing the Rudhyar, Dane The Astrology of Personality chart as a whole. 253 Rudhyar demonstrates how the Sabian symbols can be used for divination. Like Tarot cards and the I Ching, they provide clues to the best way to face anxieties, or suggest what alternative courses of action might mean in one's life. In the form of pictures that are easily recognizable to people today, these symbols can be said to constitute a contemporary, American I Ching, a series of symbols that goes to the very root of planetary significance for our present era. Rudhyar, Dane An Astrological Mandala 254 Rudhyar digs deep into the roots of astrology, its structure, meaning, and all those things that people normally don't want to concern themselves with, like responsibility and the limits of astrology. Rudhyar, Dane The Practice of Astrology 255 A unique technical breakthrough revealing the significance of the cyclic relationship of the sun and moon as phases of a larger process. Rudhyar formulates and describes here for the first time, the eight Soli Lunar types of personalities and the importance of the 'new moon before birth' and the 'progressed new moon charts'. Rudhyar's innovative presentation of the 'progressed lunation cycle' is an invaluable technique providing insight into how to use all life events in the actualisation of inner potentials. The meaning of specific events are viewed as an ordered series of Lunation phases, within the context of your whole life pattern, from birth to death. This is a practical and clear way to anticipate major turning points and transition periods and to understand our individual schedules of Rudhyar, Dane The Lunation Cycle unfoldment. 256 Page 32 of 43
